CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Dr Judith Angelitta Noronha is a Professor in the Department of Maternal Health Nursing. She assists the Head of the Institution in competent management of the college activities by way of administering the departmental functioning efficiently and facilitating the overall professional and personal development of the faculty and students.

     

    She:

    • Provides leadership to the departmental faculty.
    • Organises the departmental curricular, core curricular and extracurricular activities periodically, after discussion with the faculty members.
    • Collaborates and coordinates with other departments, other constituent colleges and external agencies where students ‘learning is planned.
    • Plans and conducts faculty developmental programs for departmental staff and participates in departmental research to keep abreast of professional knowledge in the fields of Nursing.
    • Evaluates the performances of the faculty and students periodically.
    • Ensures own professional and personal development and uses available resources effectively.
    • Explores the availability of necessary resources and maximise the use of the resources.
     

    She is involved in:

    • Activities related to MOU/ Exchange programs. 
    • Maintaining academic environment and work culture. 
    • Conducting regular and special meetings for teaching and non-teaching staff as well as students.
