Realising the potential of growth in the communication sector in India and abroad, Manipal established the Manipal Institute of Communication in 1997. The curriculum covers all streams of communication including print and new media, broadcasting, communication management including corporate communication and advertising, as well as film studies.

Students at the institute not only benefit from up-to-date curriculum, expert faculty and infrastructure, but also learn skills of communication, making them more articulate and confident as they enter the corporate world.
