The Department of Commerce was established on 1st August 2007 with the launch of a new Programme, BBM (e-Banking & Finance). The university’s vision while founding the department is to be one of the internationally recognised institutes imparting education, training and research to develop credible and competent professionals for the banking and financial sector in India. The department has its own campus in Manipal, Karnataka. Today, the department attracts students from more than 16 countries.
