CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Is responsible for conduct of board of studies and Academic Council Meetings at MAHE
- Uses various pedagogic approaches including lectures, SDL, CBL, PBL and practical sessions and is involved in the implementation of the integrated curriculum
- Assesses students through various tools such as essay, MCQ, objective structured practical examinations (OSPE) and viva-voce
- Prepares university examination question paper for MBBS, BDS and Allied Health Science courses and designs problems for problem-based learning (PBL) sessions.
- Is involved in the documentation of curriculum in the outcome-based format for MQA and institutional self-study report for NAAC accreditation
- Is the nodal officer for the instituion gathering data as requested by various university departments/external agencies
- Serves as a member of the MAHE PhD protocol committee and as a PhD guide
- Is a member of the instititutional research committee and guides students for Mentored student project (MSP)
