Anthropometry workshop held at department of Anatomy

Department of Anatomy, KMC Mangalore organized a workshop on “Anthropometry” on 28^th March 2015, at Kasturba Medical College, Bejai, Mangalore.  Dr.Venkatraya Prabhu, Dean, KMC, Mangalore was the Chief Guest for the program. Dr.Sampath Madhyastha, Additional Professor of Anatomy, KMC, Mangalore welcomed the gathering. Dr Vasudha V Saralaya, Professor & HOD of Anatomy, KMC, Mangalore and the organizing chairman of the workshop, proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. Latha V Prabhu, Professor of Anatomy, KMC, Mangalore and Mrs. Asha Deshpande, Department of Anatomy, Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad were the resource persons.  Dr. Latha V Prabhu delivered a talk on “Anthropometry- Past, Present and Future” and Mrs. Asha Deshpande delivered talks on “Physical Anthropology” and “Anthropometry”. This was followed by demonstration of Anthropometric instruments. Over 50 delegates from different Medical Colleges attended the workshop and appreciated it.
