Dr Kavitha Pai wins several prizes

Dr Kavitha Krishna Pai, second year post-graduate student, Department of Pathology, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, won the 3rd prize for OralPaper presentation titled “Evaluation Of Iron Status In Anemia Of Chronic Kidney Disease” under the guidance of Dr Sharada Rai, Dr Ashok Prabhu, Dr Flora D Lobo, Dr Radha R Pai and Dr Ashok Bhat in 1st CME in Hematology organized by Department of Hemat-oncology and Department of Medicine at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore on March 16 and 17, 2013.
She has won several prizes in the past too. She won the first prize for best oral paper presentation titled "Morphological Evaluation Of Liver Diseases at Autopsy" under the guidance of Dr Flora D Lobo, Dr Radha R Pai, Dr Suresh B Shetty in the 39th Karnataka Chapter of Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists Conference and Annual Body meet “Experientia docet” organized by Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore, from September 6 to 9, 2012.
