Dr. Padmakumar K is a distinguished academic and media professional, currently serving as Professor & Head of Post Graduate Programs at Manipal Institute of Communication, Manipal Academy of Higher Education. With expertise in Radio Production, Media Research, Brand Planning, and Corporate Communication, he is also a recognized PhD Supervisor and an Indian Faculty Ambassador for IAMCR. Dr. Padmakumar’s illustrious career includes a decade in commercial radio, earning accolades like the ‘Young Communicator Award’ and ‘Whatte Champ Award’. His international engagements span fellowships in Germany, Norway, and Australia, and speaking roles at prestigious forums in South Korea, Singapore, and Indonesia. His research interests encompass Radio Studies, Community Media, Social Media, and Corporate Communication, with numerous publications and presentations at global conferences.
