Overview

The Department of Health Information uses Data (e.g. from the Department of Data Science) to create Information. By this Health reporting on the local, regional and national level is possible which will allow to identify Public Health Problems and later Monitor their development. New surveillance methods will add to this too.

Manipal Health Literacy Unit, the Transdisciplinary Centre for Qualitative Methods (TCQM) and Public Health Evidence South East Asia (PHESA) alloted to this Department are good examples of the process how to produce relevant information.
