CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    As Professor and Head of the department, she is responsible for the smooth functioning of the department.  She is responsible for organizing the activities of the department and advising the staff on necessary matters. She is responsible for administration, resource utilization, innovation, procedures, monitoring, information, education, health, and safety of the staff, students, and patients. 

    Other responsibilities include

    • Providing quality dental care to patients
    • UG and PG teaching by engaging them in lectures, clinical demonstrations, and tutorials
    • Internal Assessment of UG and PG students 
    • Regular Curriculum revision and Question paper setting 
    • Monitoring the smooth functioning of Clinics, Radiology, and CBCT facility
    • Habit counseling for patients with chewing/ smoking tobacco habit
    • Organizing dental education programs pertaining to Specialty
    • Research Guide for Student and Faculty projects
    • Monitoring the infection control practices in the department

    • Faculty coordinator -Post Graduate advanced certificate course in Laser dentistry
