2010-01-01 Hegde Vishal Nagaraj Vijayalaxmi

MSc Biotechnology, 2010 II Year. The research dealt with the optimisation of the illumination parameters for enhanced tissue regeneration during diabetic wound healing in a pre-clinical model. Diabetes was induced, followed by full thickness excision wound in Swiss albino mice. The animals were treated with different doses of Helium-Neon laser except control. The pro-healing potential of visible (red) light in diabetic wounds was demonstrated.
