The Department of Atomic and Molecular Physics (DAMP) is a place for advanced research and higher studies in interdisciplinary areas.

 

The department is a hub for research in atomic and molecular physics consisting of ultra-fast phenomena in atoms and molecules, light matter interactions, optics and quantum electronics, condensed matter physics, nanophotonics, plasmonics, nanomaterials, opto-fluidics and biophysics.

The department offers various academic programs, namely MSc Photonics, MSc Nanoscience & Technology and MSc Biophysics. The department also offers certificate courses in Laser Applications in Medicine and Biology and Nanoscience & Technology.
