Sets question papers, invigilates theory examinations and conducts practical examinations. Guides postgraduates in their research activities and seminars. Helps postgraduate students in their thesis as guide. Is a member of Medical Education Unit and actively contributes to faculty development.

Does research in the field of various fields of Community Medicine and updates his knowledge by attending CMEs, workshops and conferences at national and state levels.

Is a teacher guardian to undergraduate students and gives his best to help them outside the classrooms. Guides the undergraduate students in their short term research projects. Guides the undergraduate students in their case presentations. Actively involved in the departmental and institutional other academic activities.
