CME conducted by Dept of Physiology

Department of Physiology, KMC Mangalore, conducted a CME on “BRAIN STROMING ON MEMORY – AN INTERGRATED APPROACH” on 27th September 2013 at Kasturba Medical College Bejai Mangalore. Dr Venkatraya Prabhu, Dean, KMC Mangalore, inaugurated the CME, and highlighted the importance of research. Dr Sheila R Pai,Prof& HOD Physiology , welcomed the gathering. Dr Ganaraja B, Additional Professor of Physiology, proposed the vote of thanks. Distinguished speakers, Dr Harsha Halahalli, Professor of Physiology, KSHEMA, Mangalore. Dr Shivanand Pai, Assoicate Prof of Neurology, KMC, Mangalore. Dr Sathyanarayana Rao, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacology, KSHEMA, Mangalore. Dr B Ganaraja, Additional Professor of Physiology,KMC, Mangalore. Dr Supriya Aroor, Associate Prof of Psychiatry, KMC, Mangalore and Dr Krishna Sharma, Professor & Chairman, Department of Yoga, Mangalore University delivered talk on The Making of Memories, Memory Impairment in Neurology, The Pharmacology of Memory Experimental Models in memory studies, Psychological issues in Dementia, Improvement of Mind, Memory and intelligence through Yoga. The audience interacted with, in-depth discussions. Over 150 delegates from different Medical Colleges attended the CME.
