CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Professor and Head of the department

    • Delivering lectures to postgraduate students.
    • Scheduling classes, examination dates, project dates, research presentation etc.
    • Allocation of lecture classes, practical classes and other academic works to various faculty members in the department.
    • Guiding the students and attending to their academic related problems.
    • Initiating the process of curriculum development, modification, up gradation etc.
    • Organizing other academic activities such as workshops, CMEs, symposiums and conferences.
    • Motivating the faculty and students to attend workshops, conference etc.
    • Guiding the postgraduate students in their project and thesis preparation.
    • Collecting the question paper sets, internal assessment marks etc. from department faculty (through Course Coordinators) and forwarding to concerned authority.
    • Communicating the various information, periodic circulars, rules, norms, guidelines, deadline etc. to faculty members and students.
    • Forwarding applications of faculty and students to concerned authorities.
    • Authorizing and forwarding students attendance and internal assessment marks to KMC office within the deadline.
    • Chairman of the Board of studies for the department and conduct meetings regularly.
