The Manipal Centre for Natural Sciences (MCNS), Centre of Excellence, announces a series of interactive short courses to be delivered in a virtual classroom environment in the months of November and December 2020
MCNS conducts fundamental research in the natural sciences. Each short course runs for one week (Monday to Friday) and is offered in modules consisting of three 90 minute interactive lectures interspersed with audio-visual learning, virtual “field” exercises (earth science) and reading assignments from the best journals to acquaint the learner with the contemporary status of the subject. MCNS faculty are experts in their fields and the content for each course is created specifically to impart the basic concepts and skills required for pure research. A completion certificate will be provided only to learners who participate fully in all the modules and complete the assignments.
