MAHE-ISAC Certified Cyber Crime Intervention Officer - Overview

Cyber Crime Intervention Officer’s(CCIO) course is a basic Cyber Crime First Responder program. This program is specially curated to prepare interventionists, enabled to help the cybercrime victims and protect the netizens and vulnerable people.  

Eligibility: Any individual with basic computer knowledge 

Who Should Attend:  

All netizens, especially Police, Students, Parents, Teachers, Counsellors, Armed Forces personnel and families, Doctors, Lawyers, LEAs, and cyber security professionals.  

Course content: 

  • Cyber Psychology  
  • Online gaming 
  • Online drug issues  
  • Children and cyberspace
  • Social media  
  • Tech abuse 
  • Financial frauds  
  • Basic Cyber laws 

The course is conducted through online live sessions with one batch every month. 

The live sessions for the next batch will be held on the following dates from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM:

September 2022: 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29

If you miss any lectures, you can always see the recordings that will be made available on the e-learning platform. Details of the portal will be provided once live sessions begin.  

Weekly assignments and research work are part of the program to enhance understanding. At the end of the course, one can take the CCIO online exam(50 Multiple choice questions)  to earn the CCIO certificate and ID card.  

Course fees: 

MAHE faculty: Rs. 590/- 

MAHE students: Rs. 1500/- 

Outside participants: Rs. 5900/-
