Smart India Hackathon 2017

MIT had the privilege of hosting a 36 hour nonstop event where 252 students racked their brains to provide solutions to the problems posed by University Grant Commission. This event was a grand success and MIT was honoured to host the event as a part of its Diamond Jubilee Celebrations. 252 (104 females and 148 males) students participated in the event.
The primary objective of this Smart India Hackathon-2017 initiative was to create a permanent platform to harvest the creativity and energy of our youngsters directly for nation building. Idea was to create world’s biggest open innovation model, which other countries should emulate.
