Dr Vittaleswar chosen to attend Fulbright Seminar When: — Where: Category:

Dr. Alapati Vittaleswar is one of the 12 educational administrators in the country approved by Fulbright Scholarship Board (FSB), Washington D.C. for a grant to attend the Fulbright Nehru Educational Administrators’ seminar in the US between October 15 and 30, 2011.

 
Dr Vittaleswar is Deputy Director Planning, Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, MIT. United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) has selected these 12 candidates from among the applicants and recommended to FSB.The seminar is a new program under the Fulbright Nehru banner.


In the US, the participants will spend five days each in Washington D.C., Philadelphia and New York to learn about various aspects of U.S. higher education, including the types of institutions, accreditation, curriculum development, fund raising, student services and international education on U.S. campuses, as well as share knowledge on Indian higher education through institutional visits, lectures and panel discussions.
