Lead Engineering with Strategic Vision

The M.Tech in Engineering Management at Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, is a two-year postgraduate program created for engineering graduates who aim to lead technical organisations. The program brings together advanced engineering knowledge with management principles, helping you address operational and strategic challenges in technology-driven industries. You learn to assess production systems, manage resources efficiently, and make informed decisions using analytical tools such as project management, forecasting, and optimisation, which means selecting the best solution from many possible options based on defined goals.

Program Highlights

Engineering and Management Integration: You gain a strong foundation in both engineering systems and management practices, enabling you to lead technical teams and organisational functions with confidence.

Advanced Laboratory Infrastructure: You work in specialised facilities such as the Data Analysis Lab, Simulation and Modelling Lab, and Resource Planning and Finance Lab, which support analytical learning and decision-making skills.

Industry-Aligned Curriculum: You study subjects shaped with academic and industry input, helping you build knowledge relevant to modern industrial and technology environments.

Leadership and Professional Development: You build teamwork, communication, and ethical leadership skills required to manage technical teams and organisational projects.

Capstone Project and Research Opportunities: You complete a major project or business plan that demonstrates your ability to apply engineering and management principles in real-world situations.

Career Development and Alumni Network: You receive guidance and placement assistance through the Career Development Centre and benefit from connections with a strong alumni community.
