CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Dr. Somashekar Shetty teaches Biochemistry to year I MBBS, year I BDS and year I Allied Health Science. Conducting PBL and SDL sessions as well as practical sessions to MBBS and BDS students.

    He:

    • Guides undergraduate mentor for student scientific projects at MMMC, Manipal.
    • Is coordinator for preparing academic calendars.
    • Is coordinator for preparing clinical biochemistry duty schedule.
    • Is Exam Coordinator.
    • Approves clinical reports at Biochemistry Stat Lab of KMC.
    • Is involved in periodic assessment of students through theory as well as practical examinations by setting up block exam question papers and university exam question paper.
    • Coordinator for Mentored Student Project
