Kasturba Medical College is recognised by:

Kasturba Medical College was awarded as the best College in the Medical category at the World Consulting and Research Corporation (WCRC) Leaders’ inaugural Asian Education Excellence Summit in New Delhi on January 9, 2014. The then Dean of KMC Manipal, Dr G Pradeep Kumar received the award.

The KMC Hospital at Manipal has full accreditation with the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Program Inc. or AAHRPP and has been engaged in clinical trials for over 10 years. These trials are approved by the Drugs Controller General of India and Institutional Ethics Committee.
Over the years, it has been consistently ranked amongst the top 10 medical colleges in the country and has collaborations with national and international universities.
The Department of Pharmacology is designated as Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, under the National Pharmacovigilance Program.
Department of Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion was recognised by NACO for having conducted highest number of voluntary blood donation camp.
Institutional Ethics Committee of Kasturba Medical College and Kasturba Hospital is NABH accredited from Feb 20, 2019.
