Having said that, we wish to add that the situation across the globe is changing every minute. The Government is issuing travel advisories and we get to see new updates every day. There have been travel restrictions to many countries and it is totally unpredictable how things will shape in the next few days. Please understand that this is not to put you in panic, but to apprise you of the complications that are likely to arise and prepare the international students to overcome them.
The students have been advised to return to their home countries. With airlines grounding their flights, we do not wish the students get stranded here or in transit; hence this measure. However, we leave it to the discretion of the students, their parents and the partner university to take a call on this.
The Office of International Affairs & Collaboration has been receiving requests from international students on campus to return to their home country. For those willing to leave, Office has been helping them with airport shuttle and any other facilities
We seek your complete cooperation here and assure you that we will ensure the safety of your students here and help them reach their home country safely.
Program completion
We do understand the students’ concerns about the sudden suspension of the program. We are trying our best to make alternate arrangements for organizing online sessions, attendance, credit transfer, lectures etc. Our Office is at your disposal and your concerns will definitely be attended to.
