APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR PG MEDICAL / DENTAL FOREIGN/NRI AND UNFILLED FOREIGN/NRI

 

Dear Candidate,

 

Welcome to Manipal University.

 

Post Graduate Medical program is being offered by Manipal University through its constituent premier institutions, viz, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and Mangalore, while the Post Graduate Dental programs are offered by Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal and Mangalore.

 

Applications are invited from NEET PG 2017 qualified candidates who are eligible under Foreign/NRI category. Admissions will be done based on the NEET PG All India 2017 Rank (UR Category). Eligibility, course fee, refund rules and process of application are as per the details given below.

 

Eligibility

 

PG Medical: Foreign nationals with OCI/PIO cards or NRI or Indian nationals supported by either Parents or Brothers or Sisters or Spouse having an NRI status are eligible for admissions under Foreign/NRI category. 

 

PG Dental: Foreign nationals with OCI/PIO cards or NRI or Indian nationals supported by NRI either Parents or Brothers or Sisters or Spouse or relatives having an NRI status are eligible for admissions under Foreign/NRI category. 

 

Qualification: Pass in MBBS/BDS degree recognized by Medical/Dental Council of India.

 

Registration: Candidates should have obtained permanent registration with Medical/Dental Council of India/State Medical Councils & Karnataka Medical Council and should submit the same on or before the commencement of classes.

 

Candidates applying should satisfy the minimum eligibility requirements as prescribed by the Medical/Dental Council of India.

 

Note for Foreign degree holders: Candidates holding foreign degree must write to the Medical/Dental Council of India to obtain a temporary registration for the duration of the postgraduate training.  Such candidates must be registered as medical practitioners in the country from which they have obtained their basic Medical/Dental qualification.  Their degrees must also be recognized by the corresponding Medical/Dental Council or by any other equivalent authority.  

 

Note: Applications are also open for all NEET - PG qualified candidates under the unfilled Foreign/NRI seats if available after completion of Foreign/NRI Counseling. The process of applying will be same as Foreign/NRI category. Admissions under this category will be based on the NEET PG All India 2017 Rank (UR category Rank).

  •      Step 2:  Contact Information
  •      Step 3:  Educational Qualification, Uploading of Photo & Signature
  •      Step 4:  Select Program through drop down menu (MDMS/MDS) and provide the Application Fees Payment Details (Application Fees Rs.     600/- by online payment through Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking)
  •      Step 5: Enter the following details pertaining to NEET examination:  

            1. Testing ID

            2. NEET Score OUT OF 1500

            3. All India NEET PG 2017 Rank (UR Category Rank)

After applying online, candidates are required to mail the scanned copy of the following documents to admissions@manipal.edu mentioning their application number.

Candidates applying for Foreign/NRI Category

1.       NEET Hall ticket

2.       NEET Score Card

3.       Photocopy of notary affidavit by the sponsoring relative from the country of residence. Click Here for the format of notary affidavit.

4.        Photocopy of the passport of the candidate.

5.        Photocopy of the sponsoring relative’s passport. 

6.       Copy of marriage registration certificate (If the spouse is sponsoring and his/her name is not reflected in the passport). No other                       certificate or affidavit in lieu of the above will be accepted.

7.       Photocopy of Diploma Certificate if any.

8.       Photocopy of Aadhar Card for Indian citizens.

 

Candidates applying for Unfilled Foreign/NRI seats

1.       NEET Score Card

2.       NEET Hall ticket

3.       Photo copy of Diploma Certificate if any.

4.       Photocopy Aadhar Card.

 

LAST DATE to send the above documents through email:  On or before 22nd February 2017

The counseling is scheduled tentatively from March 06 – 07, 2017. The Counseling procedure and  exact schedule will be notified shortly.
