International Baccalaureate (IB)

  • IB Diploma candidate should take three subjects at Higher Level (HL) and three subjects at Standard Level (SL)
  • Candidate who has secured a minimum of  24 points with 12 points in HL & 12 points in SL and awarded IB Diploma are eligible for admission
  • Candidate who has secured a minimum of 24 points & above, with IB Certificate are  eligible for admission provided the student has taken a minimum of three subjects in HL and three subjects at SL
  • Candidate who has secured less than 24 points in IB course and awarded IB certificate are NOT eligible for admission
  • Candidate who has secured 2 and below points in any subject will not be considered
  • Should meet the subject-wise eligibility as laid down by the respective statutory bodies / councils / university
  • Candidates applying for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing and BArch courses to obtain the ‘Equivalence Certificate’ from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi
  • Candidates applying for B Tech, in addition to the IB scores should subject SAT II subject scores

The IB Diploma Grades can be converted to Indian Equivalent Marks as follows

  • Registration & Choice Filling, for counseling by DGHS at http://mcc.nic.in
  • Seat allotment by DGHS / MCC
  • Reporting to the Institute, Document Verification, Fee Payment & Admission Order

 

Admission Process for all other courses

  • Apply online
  • Submission of predicted or completed IB level results, for eligibility check
  • Submission of candidate & parents / sponsorer’s passport
  • Participation in institutional selection process, if any (refer admission process under Indian Admissions for respective courses)
  • Admission Notice, subject to fulfilling all eligibility requirements
  • Fee Payment and Issue of Provisional Admission Order
  • Submission of IB results for final eligibility check
  • Admission Order, subject to fulfilling all eligibility requirements
