Content Writing in the age of Artificial Intelligence workshop by Ms Sadhana Subramanian

We had the immense pleasure of hosting Ms Sadhana Subramanian graduated from Christ College with a degree in Journalism, Psychology, and English Literature. She began the talk by laying down a brief history of content writing. She gave us the basics of content writing and the difference between content writing and mainstream journalism. There were many interesting activities conducted to help us get a better understanding of what content writing is.

There were four such activities in which the students enthusiastically participated in groups of three to four presenting their work in front of the class. The session opened us up to the potential content writing has in terms of marketing and we left the lecture having a better idea the career prospects that content writing offers as well. One of the most interesting points mentioned during the workshop is how AI can only be helpful to an extend and despite its rising popularity it cannot be a substitute for actual human talent and how the more A.I tools come up, the more tools that detect A.I will come up as well. The session was quite an important one for the aspiring writers of DLHS and many were glad that they were given this opportunity.
