The School of Life Sciences (SLS) is identified as TIFAC-CORE (Technology Information, Forecasting & Assessment Council Centres of Relevance & Excellence) under vision 2020 in the area of Pharmacogenomics. SLS is actively promoting advanced research in India and abroad. The Centre is thriving on the excellent research faculty, facility and resources; aiming to become the nation's number one research and learning Centre.
The Centre has MOUs with, among other institutions in India and abroad, Flinders University and University of Queensland in Australia, Joseph Fourier University in France, Maastricht University in the Netherlands and Lancaster University in UK. It has research collaborations with various institutions in the United States, Germany and Australia. SLS is associated with three major activity areas viz., education, research and diagnostics.
