Overview

B.Sc. Respiratory Therapy (B.Sc. RT) program in Manipal College of Health Professions (MCHP) was started in the year 1995. The program was established under the initial guidance and direction from the School of Allied Health Professions, Loma Linda University, California, USA. This is a 4-year degree course consisting of 3 years of course work and 1 year of clinical rotations (internship).

Teaching Methodology

UG teaching includes the following: Classroom lectures with powerpoint or other appropriate teaching aid, practical demonstrations of techniques and practice. From the 3rd semester, undergraduate students will be exposed to patient care through rotatory clinical postings which includes demonstration and supervised skill training with patients.
