WGSHA alumnus Chef Vikas Khanna gifted his exclusive book to Queen Elizabeth II

"WGSHA proud to share the great moment of Alumnus": WGSHA alumnus, Chef Vikas Khanna presents his limited-edition 16-kg book ‘Utsav’ to Queen Elizabeth ll. Vikas Khanna presents his book, UTSAV, to the Queen Elizabeth ll at the launch of IndiaUK Year of The Culture celebrations. The book chronicles culinary delights from Indian festivals. The celebrity Chef is an alumnus of Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal. He attended the function at Buckingham Palace on earlier this month. The Limited-Edition 16-kg 'Utsav' Book "Majestic work of art that celebrates the beauty of India," the Queen is said to have remarked when Chef Vikas presented her a copy of his book "Utsav was kept on a pedestal and the Queen spent almost 15 minutes going through the book. She was most interested in the multi-cultural diversity of India and how Utsav represents the rich heritage and beauty of India through the lens of the common man. She instantly instructed her team to have Utsav placed in her private library at Windsor," an ANI report said. Only 12 copies of "Utsav" have been made and this was the 11th. It was specially handcrafted, gold gilded and presented in a raw pink Ahimsa Silk.
