Our LLM in Data Privacy and Cyber Law is a first of its kind Master of Law (LLM) programme with a focus on data privacy and cyber law. In this era of technological developments, data privacy and cyber security have come to the forefront where the intersection of technology and law has become one of the most niche and exciting areas of study. 

This specialized LLM has been designed for working legal professionals who intend to advance their knowledge and skills and steer their careers into the field of privacy and cybersecurity. Keeping in mind the interests of working professionals, this course has been carefully curated to enable our students to achieve new heights while continuing their professional journey. 

The Centre for Post-Graduate Legal Studies was established in the year 2022. The Centre was set up with the objective of producing professionals with ethical values having an adequate blend of industry competencies and fostering societal transformation - by catering advanced, interdisciplinary, practical based learning on niche legal areas at postgraduate and doctoral level.

The Centre aims to create a pool of legal experts, who will be able to tackle new-age challenges and opportunities effectively. LLM in Data Privacy and Cyber Law is a specialized LLM degree which focuses on the legal aspects of data privacy and cybersecurity. It provides a comprehensive understanding of the laws, regulations, and best practices surrounding the protection and regulation of personal data, along with competency in dealing with cyber-attacks and information security.

The programme details international data protection law, enabling exposure to European GDPR, California’s CCPA, Singapore’s PDPA etc. The programme covers topics such as data protection laws, cybercrime, internet law, and data governance. This LLM also offers elective courses to help students build expertise in niche practice areas.

For Data privacy and Cyber law:

Eliglibilty criteria :

LLB with 50% marks and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

Admission Process:
