CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Coordinator & Assistant Professor (B.Arch and M.Des Sustainable Design)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Council of Architecture (COA), Government of India and, COA Training & Research Centre (TRC) Coordinator, from MAHE Dubai for the B.Arch program, handling the extension for approval, students enrollment, upkeep and upgradation of infrastructure (studios, labs and workshops), accreditation report and the transfer approvals, student nomination for NIASA thesis awards, faculty nomination for training programs.
- CIAT connect for long-term accreditation- Follow-up for journal articles, AT Magazine, publications, awards, competitions, library record, briefing to students, registration for membership. nomination of outstanding graduating student award and coordination with Aspiration AT Chair.
- Managing all academic activities including coordination related to collaborations, guest sessions, external reviews, workshops, research projects, site visits, competitions, overseeing the academic schedule.
- Feedback from students, accrediting bodies and Industry Advisory Board members for enhancing teaching, academic delivery and learning outcome.
- Moderator and coordinator for the Annual Masterclass series 2022 and 2021 as a collaboration between Manipal Group of Institutions with sessions from faculty of Manipal’s Schools of Architecture and international experts from the industry and other international universities.
- Conduction of the Annual program-specific Faculty Development Programs for the faculty of School of Design and Architecture, MAHE Dubai
- Documentation and Social media update for KHDA, Accreditation Report and Annual Report for the department.
