- Ms.Neha Rajiv , Sixth Semester Electronics & Communication Engineering student Completed the online course on WirelessCommunication for Everyone offered by Coursera with Excellent Grades during March – April 2017.
- Ms.Mahalakshmi Sixth Semester Electronics & Communication Engineering student got shortlisted for the RTA Hackathon happened on March 2017.

- B.Sc ISM students won the “Rolling Trophy” Microsoft office Specialist Championship 2016
- Mr. Ramiz Umar Abdul Sattar, Final year Mechanical Engineering student won the Best Student Project Award at the 8th edition of the Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport (DAST) held at the Dubai World Trade Center during 2016.
- Mr. Arjun Manohar, Final year Mechatronics student was among the top three of all the university contestants in the “3M INF 2016“event. On qualifying for the global challenge will have a chance to visit “3M Headquarters USA” with six months internship.
- Students from BTech CSE, B.Sc. ISM, and M.Sc. IS competed with 440 students from 13 countries (TMENA Region) in the CISCO NetRider International Competition organised by Manipal Dubai CISCO Networking Academy in 2016, Saish Gaonkar, B.Sc ISM, II Year has won the 4th in place in IT Essentials, Gagandeep Singh, 3rd Year B.Tech CSE has won the 2nd place in ICENT 1 ,Manipal Dubai is winning this event for the third consecutive year.
- Ms.Pragathi Gopinath, Mr.Varun Vinod & Ms.Nidhya Rajagopal from B.Tech Chemical, secured the 2nd position in Inter-Collegiate Chem-E Debate competition (held at BITS-Dubai Campus) in 2016
- Mr. Varun Vinod Menon from B.Tech Chemical got the Best Debator Award in Chem-E Debate competition (held at BITS-Dubai Campus) in 2016
- Team of Students from Civil Engineering won the 1st Prize in Target Load Capacity Category and 3rd Prize in Bridge Load Efficiency category in Wooden Bridge Competition (held at American University of Dubai) in 2016

- Team of Students from Civil Engineering won the 1st prize in Tower Crane Competition and in Rocket Launch Competition. 2nd prize in Concrete Cube Crushing Competition, in Civil Engineering Day competition organized by American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) at American University of Sharjah (AUS) in 2016
- Ms. Shaida Siddique from Mechanical Engineering got the best paper award for International Conference on Latest Trends in Engineering and Technology ICLTET 2016 (held in Abu Dhabi)
- Students visit MIT, India - Students from school of Engineering & IT visited MIT, India. This initiative aims at more learning opportunities from parent campus.
- Two teams of B.Tech Civil Engineering students won 2nd & 3rd Prize in “Tower Crane Competition “ held by the ASCE student chapter of American University of Sharjah in 2015.
- A team of three students secured 1st prize in fourth inter-collegiate business quiz competition in the annual event organized by the British University in Dubai in 2015.
- Students of Engineering and IT secured first 5 Ranks for IT Essentials category in the UAE region and first rank for CCENT with-in University. The second round was conducted among 7 countries. Our student secured 2nd position in the Turkey, Middle East, and North Africa region competition held in 2015.
- Team of Engineering & IT students was amongst the top 14 in American Helicopter Society Competition’ for An Un Manned Aerial Vehicle Design for Logistics held in 2015.
- Students of Electronics & Communication won 2nd prize for “Advanced Baby care system “in Senior Design Project competition at IEEE UAE day organized by Petroleum University, Abu Dhabi in 2015.
- Hajarah Jahan from BSc ISM student won in the 2015 International Hackathon for Social Good in the Arab World. The event was held at New York University Abu Dhabi.
