The LLM (Master of Law) program offers in MUJ is an advanced program of legal study that is customized to the needs of the individual student and working legal professionals. This program can be tailored to everyone’s interests, thus uniquely equipping students with the knowledge and skills to excel in today’s global legal community. Having committed to providing the highest quality of education, the one-year LLM degree program is designed primarily for law students to impart interdisciplinary and critical approaches to understanding the domains of law, society, and development in India. A distinct aspect of the program is the equal emphasis on conceptual, doctrinal, and empirical skills.
This stream is offered by the Faculty of Law in LLM one year which acquaints the students to the field of Corporate and Commercial Laws and specially emphasizes and provides an exhaustive understanding of Contract analysis, Company Law provisions, Corporate Governance compliances, Competition Laws, Laws of Securities and Financial Market and functioning of Market Regulators, Insurance Laws, Cyber Laws, Bankruptcy Laws, and other related subjects.
The objective of an LLM (Master of Laws) program is to provide advanced legal education to individuals who have already completed a first degree in law. The main goals of an LLM program are:
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university with minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
Admissions are done based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination & MUJ Entrance Exam consists of written & personal interview (PI).

The curriculum of LLM has been designed to develop the academic and professional skills of students & enhance their legal knowledge and competencies. The course facilitates focus on researching skills and publication opportunities in various reputed journals. The central idea is to help students achieve specialization in one of the specific segments of legal education.
