CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Rajashekar Rao Barkur teaches Biochemistry to year I MBBS, year I BDS and allied heath courses.

    He:

    • Conducts practical, PBL, SDL sessions for year I MBBS, year I BDS courses.
    • Sets question paper.
    • Is External Examiner for various theory examinations of Manipal University and other institutions.
    • Is Internal Examiner for Year I MBBS degree examination.
    • Prepares and conducts OSPE for MBBS phase I stage I (MBBS batch) and refresher batch.
    • Is involved in exam coordination and invigilation.
    • Guides year II MBBS student research projects.
    • Mentors MBBS students.
    • Is involved in periodic departmental meetings for review of curriculum and internal auditing as member of internal audit.
