Dr. Vijayaraghavan earned her Ph.D. from The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, India. Her doctoral work was in Gender and Intersectionality studies, exploring the politics of Piety & gender. As an academic and researcher, her research spans Critical Food Studies, Gender and Intersectionality, English & Cultural studies and Critical Pedagogy. Currently, her keen interest lies in the area of Critical Food Studies, especially in its development and engagement of it in the context of India.
