Professor of Practice
I am an anthropologist with research and teaching expertise in Indian sociology, anthropology, development studies, public policy, health systems and health inequities, gender studies including gender-based violence, research methods including mixed methods, diversity, equity, inclusion, ethics, and family and kinship. I have 17of teaching, policy, and advocacy experience in academia, civil society organizations, and the government. I am multilingual and have international work experience in the US, Europe, and India. I am also deeply invested in translational research so that insights can be disseminated to the public and policymakers for greater impact and write extensively for independent digital platforms and the popular press.
Qualification: B.A. (Honours) Economics , A.M. Cultural Anthropology , PhD Cultural Anthropology
