Dr. Subrato Banerjee, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia gave a talk on ‘Financial Crisis’ on 6th February, 2017 at Nethravathi Lecture Hall, School of Management to MBA first year students. He explained the concept of game theory, rational decision making and prisoner’s dilemma and explicated the relevance of these concept to understand ‘herd behaviour’ evident during financial crisis. He gave examples of subprime crisis and other economics crises to teach behavioural aspects of any financial crisis.
