Management Development Programme for the District Development Managers of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD)

A two days Management Development Programme for the District Development Managers of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) was organized at Manipal Institute of Management, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal between 1st and 2nd July 2019.
The programme was inaugurated by Mr Suryakumar P.V.S., the Chief General Manager, NABARD. Dr. Raveendranath Nayak, Director, MIM gave a brief idea about MIM initiatives through FPOs in Udupi district. He also appealed the participants to follow such creative ideas in promoting FPOs in their respective district.
Mr Shri Srivasta, General Manager, NABARD listed out important components of learning and how to practice them as DDMs.
The formal programme began with an invocation. Mr Ramesh, DDM Udupi and Dakshina Kannada introduced the guests to the audience. The programme was organized by Prof. Harish Joshi, MIM, MAHE.
The sessions began with a warmup, know yourself and self-motivation. The two days training was conducted by Prof. Radhakrishna, a well-known HRD trainer of this region.
Most of the sessions were activities based wherein participants were made to participate in the discussions and similar kind of modules.
26 participants representing each district of Karnataka were present in the training.
