Overview of SADBHAVA
To celebrate and explore the interdisciplinary studies in allied design and heritage SADBHAVA as an idea of a good expression arose to express the universal human values and beyond. In the contemporary world, humans have an affiliation to design at every point of their life in various aspects, starting from a small product, art in intangible and tangible forms etc. This centre looks to explore such intricacies to share and disseminate the knowledge to future generations. “SADBHAVA” takes this as an opportunity to serve the nation and portray our country’s soft power to the world in a new perspective. The importance of such centres is tremendous, as it helps in intellectual enrichment and brings in a diaspora of knowledge from various walks of life, in India and abroad.
The allied design, built heritage and vernacular architecture are intrinsically connected and contribute to exploring the associated tangible and intangible elements. To summarize, the centre tries to bring out the aspects related to these study areas, thereby helping in putting across the vision of India’s soft power on a global platform through various initiatives like consultancy, advisory, online courses, summer schools, workshops, conferences etc.
