Dr Priyanka is an Assistant Professor in the Economics area at the Department of Public Policy, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Bengaluru. She has received her doctoral degree from Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bengaluru. Her doctoral study focused on the ‘Economic Analysis of Indian Civil Aviation Industry’. She did her master’s in economics from Pondicherry Central University. She also comes with an experience of working as a senior consultant to KPMG – India (Economic Development Advisory).

Area of Interest
Her research interest focuses on macro- economic concept such as economic growth, understanding and managing economic fluctuations, complexities of business cycle, exploring the factors that influence periods of expansion and contraction in national economies and emphasizes on studying the role of government policies such as fiscal and monetary measures, in stabilizing and sustaining economic growth.
Area of Research
Dr Priyanka’s expertise also lies on econometrics, economic impact assessment and modelling and quantitative research.
