    Nithyananda Chowta K teaches General Medicine. 

    He:

    • Assists the administration and HOD to implement Manipal University policies, rules, and regulations
    • Helps to maintain departmental records and reports up to date
    • Works towards the achievement of the institutional goals
    • Ensures students follow the rules and regulations of the college
    • Orients new staff appointed to the department and the students posted in the department
    • Is coordinator BDS undergraduate program
    • Monitors performance standards achieved by students
    • Conducts lectures and clinical demonstration to UG & PGs
    • Evaluates papers
    • Conducts sessional & University examinations and submission of internal assessment scores
    • Is external examiner for university examinations
    • Is a member of the Board of studies
    • Participates actively in clinical research
    • Does research paper publications
    • Attends and presents scientific papers in CME, conferences, and workshops.
