Manipal Centre for Biotherapeutics Research (MCBR) envisions to carryout innovative research, process, and product to develop Biotherapeutics (biologics or biotech drugs) with a broad remit covering various biological products with a therapeutic potential in humans, mainly in the areas of cell, gene, protein, nanotechnology, regenerative medicine and biomaterials.

The goal of this centre is to harbour research programs to innovate, develop and translate cutting edge research in the area of biotherapeutics in collaboration with global Biopharma and biotechnology industries. The Masters and Doctoral program offered by MCBR will help students to fully exploit the potential of these novel and, cutting edge therapeutic avenues by translational research.
