CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Associate Professor, and HOD

Dr. Harini is currently the Head of the Department of Public Policy at MAHE Bengaluru. Her academic responsibilities include teaching foundation and advanced courses in Public Policy as well as designing Policy labs for research and enablement in the fields of environment, technology, and sustainable development. She is also pursuing collaborations with national and international institutions of repute for strengthening the pedagogical frameworks and the Problem Based Learning approaches in the programmes offered by the department. Her administrative roles also include providing leadership to a team of young policymakers, coordinating academic activities, and conducting training programmes and workshops. She is also a doctoral research supervisor to Ph.D. scholars working broadly in the area of environment, technology policy, and sustainable development.  Currently, Dr. Harini is offering an open elective: Technology and Public Policy.
