Professor Dr. Ella Gorian represented Manipal Law School at the Society of Legal Scholars Symposium on “Empowering Equal Opportunities and AI Literacy in Global Legal Education”, held on 5 November 2025 at the University of Reading, UK.
She presented a paper titled “GenAI and the Digital Divide in Indian Legal Education: Focus on Marginalised Communities.” The presentation examined how generative AI technologies are reshaping legal learning in India and highlighted the urgent need to bridge structural digital inequalities that disproportionately affect students from marginalised social groups.
