Dr Nagendra, Associate Professor of Manipal Law School, presented a research paper titled “The Efficacy of Virtual Interviewing Techniques: A Demographic Viewpoint” at the 5th International Conference on Advancing Knowledge from Multidisciplinary Perspectives in Education, Engineering & Technology (ICAKMPET-2025), organized by Bohol Island State University, Philippines, Cebu on 24th-25th January 2025.

The study examines the benefits and drawbacks of virtual interviewing methods from a demographic perspective, assessing variables including age, gender, and place of residence. In addition to highlighting differences in outcomes, efficacy, and access, the study makes suggestions for more fair and inclusive virtual interviewing techniques. The study also proposed a customized interviewing mechanism to address the varied needs of stakeholders.
