Akshra Mehla

Assistant Professor of Law

Akshra Mehla is an Assistant Professor of Law specialising in Public law and Legal theory. With a graduation from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and a Masters from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to her teaching and research. Akshra has previously held teaching positions at Symbiosis Law School, Pune, where she taught Jurisprudence and Legal Theory, Feminist Jurisprudence and Gender Justice, Law and Justice in globalised world, and family law. Akshra has published extensively on issues of social justice, Law and technology, surveillance studies, Foucauldian analysis, Feminist theory etc. She has to her credit an Oxford University Press publication, two publications in widely reputed Economic and Political Weekly (EPW), and other SCOPUS journals. Outside the classroom, she enjoys travelling the world.
