The Community Medicine Department strives to introduce medical students to the challenges and rewards of community-based care by providing them a theoretical base and opportunities to observe and obtain evidence-based practical experiences on the field in a demographically diverse setting.

Pedagogy

Students will be provided learning experiences through varied pedagogic methodologies including experiential learning methods.

Focus areas include adolescent health, mental health parenting, non-communicable diseases, environmental health, and sanitation.
