Pediatrics Department at Melaka Manipal Medical College comprises of 2 units at the Dr T M A Pai Hospital Udupi and Dr T M A Pai Rotary Hospital Karkala, which are constituent hospitals, attached to Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Each Unit is headed by a professor and has 1-3 assistants, who are involved in various activities for efficient functioning of the department.
Department of Surgery is actively involved in teaching basics of General Surgery to the Fifth Semester students of the MMMC .The program consists of didactic lectures, bedside clinics at the designated hospitals , small group teaching , simulated clinical teaching .Besides these, the students are encouraged to learn on their own by self-directed learning
