The Semester I students of M.A. (MMC) were taken out for a comprehensive day-long journalistic trip to a number of story spots in the city of Bengaluru. The day started with the students starting at the Yelahanka Junction Railway Station and catching a Mainline Electric Multiple Unit (MEMU) train to Yesvantpur Junction Railway Station and then proceeding to the Yeshwanthpur Metro Station from there.

From the Yeshwanthpur Metro Station, the students took a metro train to Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Metro Station. From there, the students walked to KSR Bengaluru and went about talking to people on the busy station. From there, the students walked until Majestic Bus Terminus and took a bus to SP Road Electronics Market. The students went about their business at the SP Road Electronics Market following which they took another bus to Koshy’s Bar & Restaurant, an iconic eatery in the centre of Bengaluru. After lunch, they proceeded to Blossom Book House and then went to their respective homes.
