On 23 November 2024, the staff and students of Manipal Law School, Bengaluru participated in the release of the report and panel discussion on 'Understanding Justice in Child Sexual Abuse Cases', held at the Karnataka Judicial Academy - India. The event, organized by Enfold in collaboration with Project 39A, National Law University, Delhi, marked the launch of their groundbreaking report. Attended by over 150 professionals, including lawyers, law enforcement officers, and students, the report was officially released by Hon. Justices Anu Sivaraman and Sunil Dutt Yadav, alongside Dr. Anup Surendranath.
The evening featured a thought-provoking panel discussion that explored the lived experiences of survivors, systemic challenges, and the transformative impact of the POCSO Act. The event underscored the importance of collaboration and research in addressing child sexual abuse, fostering critical dialogue, and making a significant contribution to the legal and social discourse.
