A two-day training session on Data Analytics & Power BI was arranged at Dr. D Veerendra Heggade Institute of Management Studies and Research (DVH IMSR) Dharawad on September 14 and 15, 2024, with Dr. Nagendra Sanoor, Associate Professor at Manipal Law School, as a resource person. The first day's Data Analytics session was facilitated by Dr. Nagendra Sanoor. Furthermore, the Power BI session on the second day was led by Dr. Rakesh T.S., Principal of GSSS Simha Subbamahalakshmi First Grade College in Mysore. The sessions were attended by 65 MBA students who aimed to expand their understanding of data analytics methodologies and tools.

The purpose of Data Analytics training was to equip the students with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to collect, analyse, and interpret data objectively rather than resort to intuition or guesswork while making decisions, ensuring accurate and reliable business outcomes. This would be more helpful to promote a culture where decisions are supported by data rather than intuition or guesswork, ensuring more accurate and reliable business outcomes. The participants provided positive feedback, especially appreciating the hands-on approach and practical examples used during the session.
